Is Adsense Still a Viable Money Maker?
from:Without a doubt, Adsense continues to be a lucrative business opportunity for many Internet marketers. The wisest among them are those that rely on Adsense along with several other sources of online income but it continues to be a profitable venture for anyone that is interested in creating a secondary or even primary stream of passive income. Though passive does seem to be the wrong word considering the amount of work that goes into establishing the initial stream of income.
Making money online is becoming an easier proposition in many ways and more difficult in just as many. As more people become interested in Internet, affiliate, and other marketing methods used online, competition grows. However, for those interested in making money through Adsense, this sets the stage for incredible opportunities. Higher competition means higher prices and earnings for those that are paying for Adwords clicks. By default, this means more income for those who are advertising their ads on websites.
Traffic, of course, is the key to clicks and the results you seek. The more traffic you get the more likely it will be that someone will find something of value in the ads on your blog or web site. If you really want to keep people coming back, and clicking, you need to offer something of value to those who visit your site. This is where the hard work comes in. Good, compelling content doesn't write itself. You need to either find quality freelance writers to help you in your efforts or plan to spend a great deal of time writing content for your many sites to keep them up to date, informative, and competitive.
More importantly, you don't want your visitors to think you are only attempting to get their clicks or sell them something. You need to have something of value to offer everyone who clicks on your link. They are a guest in your little corner of the World Wide Web, you need to make them feel welcome, at home, and appreciated.
One way that many marketers have of doing this is by offering free gifts or rewards to visitors. There are all kinds of programs that allow you to give gifts to your visitors at little or no cost to you. These gifts are excellent incentive for visitors to keep coming back and, by default, clicking on your Adsense ads. Those clicks are the reason that Adsense remains a viable money making option even today.
